Kids' Privacy Notice (for parents)
Last updated: [date]
DRAFT — not yet reviewed by a lawyer.
This explains how we handle information about children under 13, as required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Kids aren't users
Children don't create accounts. A parent creates each child's profile and controls it. We record the parent's consent when a child under 13 is added.
What we collect about a child
Only what a parent enters or the child does inside the family's app: first name, birthday, emoji avatar, a hashed PIN, and the child's chores, money records, goals, wishlist, business logs, quests (including their answers when a quest fails), and Atlas chats if a parent turned Atlas on.
We don't collect a child's email, phone number, photo, voice, or location, and there are no ads or outside trackers on kids' screens.
How we use it
Only to run the app for that family: showing the child their jars, tasks and progress, sending the child's one daily message (if turned on), writing the weekly report for parents, and Atlas replies.
Who sees it
The child's parents in the same family. Our service providers listed in the Privacy Policy process it only to run the app. We don't share it with anyone else or use it for advertising.
A parent's rights
You can review your child's information in the app at any time, change it, turn features like Atlas off, and ask us to delete it by emailing privacy@2playersbanking.com. You can also tell us to stop collecting any more information about your child; that means removing their profile.
