Birthday money, gifts and fixing mistakes
Add money from outside, take money out, or undo.
What it is
Money that didn't come from chores: birthday cash, something they sold, a neighbor paying them. You can also give or take back money directly, and undo any entry.
Why it helps your kid
All of their money in one place gives the true picture, and mistakes should be easy to fix.
Where to find it
Kids tab → your kid → Money from outside, Give or take back, and Activity.
How to do it
- Money from outside: enter the amount, who it's from, pick Gift, Sale or Other, and choose split or one jar. Tap Add money.
- Give or take back: pick a jar, the amount, a short note, and tap Post.
- Undo: find the entry in Activity and tap Undo. The app writes the opposite entry, so the history stays honest.
- Kids can also log money they got themselves. It waits for you to confirm on Home.

Questions parents ask
Why can't I just delete an entry?
Like a real bank, nothing is erased. Undo cancels it out and both lines stay, so nobody wonders where money went.
