Allowance and the jar split
How much they get each week and where it goes.
What it is
Allowance is a set amount paid every payday. The split decides how each payday is divided into Spend, Save and Give. You can make allowance depend on chores: if a chore was missed that week, the allowance isn't paid (jobs are always paid).
Why it helps your kid
The split builds the saving habit automatically. Tying allowance to chores makes chores matter without paying for each one.
Where to find it
Kids tab → your kid → Allowance, split & interest.
How to do it
- Enter the weekly allowance (0 for none).
- Tick "Allowance only pays if every chore that week was done" if you want that rule.
- Set the split, for example Spend 50, Save 40, Give 10. It must add up to 100.
- Tap Save money settings.
- To change every kid at once, use Family tab → Family Money Plan → Apply to all kids.
